If you have not noticed allow me to break the news to you....The streets are dead. 

Now i know many of you have come out here to try and make yourself believe something that occured that really didnt.

Some of you would like to argue and debate with me saying that there have been regular updates about crew leader meetings where the majority of their time is spent disagreeing on Tim-Tams, whatever that even is...

I know some of you would like to explain to me you have seen philosophical start ups.

I know many of you will claim that leaders have been out in the streets and starting as well as adding to each and every conversation...

I know that many of you will inform me that you are sure there are stories that are regularly shared.

That there is a newspaper out...

There is a fight club and a talk about fight club...

Although many of you claim these as realities the true reality is...Our streets have sadly passed away...

If you are not listening to the music played by the band i encourage you to take a moment and let this sink in...

BrotherHec lays a rose on the pavement. 

Due to the unfortunate demise of our streets. I am placing a protection order on the streets themselves. I invite many of you at the closing of this year to come out and share your best memories of the streets, in its honor. 

Could we have done more? Yes. Should we have done more? Yes. Did we do more? No.

RIP streets...You were great. 

Daria listens intently to BrotherHerc as she overhears the band playing - distracting the crowd from the movers breaking down hundreds, if not thousands of soapboxes.   The Depression had hit some industries more than others, it seemed.

BrotherHec, I commend you for coming out here to give an ode to our lovely streets - the end of the streets couldn't have a more dignified sendoff.

What, may I ask, is the punishment for breaking this protection order?  Will there be a seven day grace period afforded to it like our more traditional protection orders?

Oblivion approaches BrotherHec, eyes completely bloodshot clearly from the many tears that have been shed over the death of the dear streets.

If it is alright with you BrotherHec, I also would like to establish a Safe Place in Venice Beach, where mourners may gather. Pet therapy and Coloring therapy will be offered to help those saddened by these events cope. 

Torak listens to the music and the words of BrotherHec and can't but help to think that he must be making a sick joke.

"As i listened further though, regarding how the protection orders could be broken i start to get this speech a little more. Some of these points have been running through my mind lately and another reason or point too" 

"Firstly points 3 and 4 are more than a tad annoying and getting more and more prevalent. So agree those additions to our streets our certainly suffocating her. My other reason though is, and  i hope i can get this out and explain it properly. The 'Streets' where we are suppose to come out as only ourselves, not something or someone else. What i mean is, there is a lot of people that are barley 1 day old coming here into our streets and mouthing off about stuff that they have no physical or mental way of knowing, even if they did have a journal from there great grand-daddy or there Mother had managed to avoid the bullet coming at them that they didn't know was coming and told them an amazing amount of information. To me this just sounds like we have people coming here in the streets that can only really be possessed or have some crazily active imaginations. These same few people then seem to commit suicide hours later proving they had no reason to be here"

"So if the Streets are Dead i think we shouldn't mourn but we should revive instead, but how.....how can you stop the loonies and the characters that aren't acting the way they should be acting in the streets. Perhaps the Gods?  Sadly and i know its of no help but I do not know"

The streets are dead. There is nothing more we can do. Please just let it Rest In Peace. We can't revive what is dead. Reincarnation does not occur. We must allow everyone to mourn. Come I will show you the way.

cat walks down the streets shaking what her mamma gave her and chain smoking - putting her finger to her mouth in a shhh motion at anyone who dare attempt to speak freely here...

Wonders if she should give a speech on whether wearing black really is slimming or just a nasty nasty rumour created by the slim people....

"I think you miss the point of life here Brother. It's a flowing process, not a static one. Conn and some of us have been discussing death out here, and people that are afraid of it."

"You came out here and asked us, those in Vegas, what we do over there to be so proficient out here. We gave you an answer. What have you done with the I formation discussed in that meeting? Is this really what you took from it?"

"Brother we need more leaders to lead by example in keeping these streets busier. All I see here is the wrong example. Maybe revisit those notes or thoughts from the Vegas meeting. Maybe turn your focus on something positive instead of something negative. Maybe, just maybe lead your city to be a strong presence out here. My offer still stands to help, yet you didn't take that offer, instead this is where you are."

"The only thing I see as being dead is your aspiration to lead and make waves through guiding your city and your family to be more vocal out here. The streets are where they need to be until they need to be otherwise. Yet, if you, Brother, wont make more effort than this here announcement, how can you expect them to be any different than they currently are?"

Axel we all take what we hear and make an interpretation...I might be wrong because all I have is the same words you do and I was not part of other chats elsewhere that you mentioned - however might this not be a clever way of poking fun at a very lively streets right now and the vocal people who claim it is all but that?

I picked up irony - humour and a clever twist - I don't get this dressed up for anything less.

But I might be wrong...I am sure Brotherhec once he collects his jaw from the floor at my attire might or might not make this clearer.

"I do get it Tellurium, I get the irony. It's a fun little discussion, and maybe simply to get them more active. I appreciate the effort, yet when a leader is out here making discussions like this after another meeting he held to get information on how to do the opposite of what's being discussed, it has me scratching my head. I get the sense both are just a way to be seen, rather than a real effort to get these streets busy."

"Right now we poke fun, tomorrow we complain they are truly dead, and then what? Who's going to be the ones to grab life by the balls and get to work to make this place livelier? Because if this is what efforts are made, consistently, then maybe others that are truly putting in work will see it's all for what, this? And the real workers will stop. Who then will get to work? And with what efforts? These?"

"I apologize if my energy isn't as fun times as this discussion, yet words are real. They are energy. And even though there is a joke here, it's at the expense of people who really do make real efforts in the streets to keep them busier. And I don't mean the fight club joke, as I actually did find that funny. It's the lack of real leadership and effort here that has me concerned."

"Instead of poking fun, surely there is so much more that could be done from a city level, that currently isn't, that is a real issue here. If all we do is wait till others do something concrete, then joke about it all, and let things slide into a point of despair, how can we be content with that?"

Well  cannot answer for BrotherHec but all I will say is we need a clear message - if this is seen as not acceptable because of position of humour involved then we still are dictating the streets.

Why do we big up the rights of thugs and gangsters to speak freely yet crack the whip if a different approach is taken by someone in a leadership role?

I understand if someone holding a leading role comes here and is a dick or disrespectful for example - my honest impression is that this was not the case here - the irony of saying the streets are dead whilst having people respond openly here is not lost on me.

I love your style Axel and have much respect for it, I think we allow all to have their own too.

"Hey this topic is fine, it's perfect, it's an open discussion for all to take part in. My piece is my piece, as yours is, and Hec's is. I don't expect anything more than simply an opposing view to be taken here, as I'm not calling for heads to roll or rules to be made. I'm just challenging the speaker who I happened to walk on by. If it weren't for the Vegas meeting, I probably wouldn't have stopped to challenge the discussion."

"I'm just challenging something based on events that have transpired. I'm quite vocal, so it's natural for me to speak my mind. If Brother wants to tell me to beat it, then I'm off, as I respect everyone's opinion, as I hope they do mine, even if the energy is a little at odds."

Axel pulls out a cigarette, gives it a spark then continues.

"In fact, I'll make my way to grab some lunch and let you guys play it out. I've added my two cents and I appreciate your time too Tellurium, it's always good to see you about and hear what you have to say, always. And I apologize for derailing things a little."

Axel gives a casual salute then leaves the immediate area, remembering a nice little café he passed on the way here.

Axel returns with a bagel and a baguette. Having stopped at two different café's he was unable to choose what one would do the job for his hunger, so why not take both, he thought. As he did have respect for the man, Axel listened as BrotherHec returned his opinion. He devoured the words and before responding, he moved forward through the crowd and stood before the NY leader.

"Bagel, or Baguette?"

Axel offered one of the two to BrotherHec.

"Oh and you're completely right. I was misinformed, and I apologise. Must've been the hunger pangs. I sometimes stir shit up just to see how people respond, or at least that's what I've been told by Father OGrady. I really should stop doing it but it's a habit, like my smoking. He also tells me I need to see the humour in things more. We'll see how that part goes, although I'm not sure it will stick."

Axel smirks a little, still awkward, still not entirely use to using these facial muscles yet he gives it a proper go.

"So, bagel, or baguette? My treat."

From a distance a lifeless snowman sits in the park. A few ice skaters are out skating to the lyrics "In the Arms of An Angel"  Voices from a short distance could be heard. Frosty remains still in the night while enjoying the serene music and  listening to people chatter among each other.

The corn cob pipe fell to the ground. Eyes of coal focused in on the skaters. The warm front was creating a problem for Frosty.  The  fedora is removed ready to throw a couple snowballs.

The topic of Streets is my fancy.  I will concur the streets are dead and in more ways then one.  One cannot speak from the streets without being capped. A leader or his hand may start what is perceived as a fun read and if anyone unimportant to them in their family plays along, they neglect to follow up.  The streets are dead.

It is no secret a leaders lineage are notorious for getting back in the big boys seat. Quite disturbing to watch that show happen and more so boring  to witness them appoint the same hands. The streets are dead.

It has been a very long time to see true leadership earn their status and hold all family dear. Not just a select couple or few. The streets are dead.

Excuse me? Do you not realize every person in my legitimate bloodline has been a leader? Do you not realize I have the most active crew

How do you check who has the most active crew, is there a newspaper stand for this or some corner I can find this on? 

Respectfully what in gods name does your legitimate bloodline have to do with what is going on now. I hear all the time new blood means new opportunity , but why do we keep mentioning our ancestors is this a popularity contest?  

In no way am i trying to be rude but i did see you mention the lack of debate and would love to hear your opinion on old men bringing up there bloodline.

I did mean to say one of the most active crews. How can you check? Well come pay a visit if you'd like to my wonderful headquarters or lovely coffee shops where you will see all my little who's hanging around in whoville. 

Respectfully, if you would have seen that axel had mentioned that he "questioned" my leadership I wanted to reassure him that all I know are logs of my family line are from leadership positions. My bloodline has to do with what is going on now, because it's through them I learned the tricks of the trade. By being raised to learn how to perform certain actions and sell certain exquisite items. And yes...this is a popularity contest for me. 

Old men? Please. My age is irrelevant to what I choose to say my little push push. However I'm sure you have studied and learned how kings will mention those that either came before them in their family line or in their position of leadership. These are ways to revert back to the past and inform one on a point he/she is speaking of. When one chooses to speak about leadership let it be known this isn't my first time being a leader. So if one is concerned they need not be.
