So this week I've been watching youtube videos and listening to every nutso theory out there and I gotta say, the more I hear about Jaime and Brienne being together, the more I'm secretly pulling for that to be a thing (even if only long enough for him to die in her arms!)  

I'm putting money on Arya killing Cersei.  It is known.  I have no clue how the f it will go down but I just gotta believe my little assassin will come through and take her down.

I kinda also hope Arya and Gendry end up on the throne together - though I know that's a long ass shot if ever there was one.  Likely it'll be either Dany (insert long list of titles here) or her know-nothing-heroes-journey-traveling-nephew-boyfriend Jon Snow.  **grumbles**

I also fear for my beloved imp ... dumb ass probably cut a deal with Cersei off screen and screwed himself utterly but I'm still pulling for him.  Don't die half-man!  Don't die!!!!

Also, anyone willing to give me odds on Ghost surviving this season?  Or the dragons laying (or having laid) eggs already?

Im just excited this is back even if it only for a few episodes i hope this wait was worth it.

My money is on everyone killing each other and FrankenMountain being the only one left standing.

I read spoilers. My favorite, Jaqen H'ghar returning to Westeros and meeting up with Arya Stark revealing himself to be Rhaegar Targaryen.

Don't worry about Cerci or whatever she's doing.  Jaime going to stab her so good at some point before it's all over.

Gut feeling is they shaft us & dont give us Hound Vs Mountain. I think Arya will kill the Mountain & Jaime kills Cersi.

Rather, logenninefingers. Nothing really happened honestly, other than Cersei finally screwed someone she wasn't related to.

I thought it was pretty good, a lot of the seasons start like that with a kind of introduction episode tying up last season and setting things up for the new one.

Kind of a slow start to season 8 but I wasn't disappointed.

Although it seems like no one bothered to wheel Bran anywhere else other than his one spot in Winterfell all episode.

never had much interest in it so have no idea whats being talked about.

Awesome thread, watched 8/1 and before I watched it I watched the entire series again.  Very cool that Jon is not a bastard and the real true heir to the throne.  To bad he already bent the knee..haha...I definitely think it will be Arya who kills Cersei altho she is with child so not really a good ending for her.  Not sure the fans would like that much.  Cuddo's to her tho for the effort in keeping the Lannister name in the lime lights.....As far as the Imp, he will be just fine as Cersei's new assassin won't stick to his word/oath.  He will talk his way out of anything.  He's like the energizer bunny..going...going...going.  Jaime beats the crap out of the Dead Army with his iron hand.  The Dragons will become food for the poor eventually and they will have another giant skull for their collection.  And what the hell, why did Cersei want elephants.
