As stated before, I figure this is a good service to provide you all, and hopefully a motivator for the IA uppers and leaders (those that are 0-10, regularly)!

Of course, these statistics are only a snapshot and pending to change, but this is how they appear at this moment. If it's a one off for a week or something, then that could be for a number of reasonable reasons, vacations, illness, etc. This is not a permanent shaming, but if they continue on their path of absence, then shame on them!

The thing that strikes me is the plagiarism in an OOC forum (which does get factored into VIP Points for credits/lottery tickets), where you copied and pasted and added a few more sentences. It's ironic that you're pointing out CL/hand lack of effort while at the same time putting a lack of effort in your post. Just a thought.

There you go. Any XP or bonus you think I'd get on a throwaway account is moot. I didn't even have VIP. 

As for your points, there's not much to really innovate on such a good thing. 

Personally, I find this type of thing rather childish.

At the end of the day this remains a game and some people have more time as some people have less.  Not everyone is going to have the same available time. Does this mean they should not enjoy the game or achieve positions?

In the case of my LHM they had to be away for personal reasons that are not mine to share. But upon them letting me know they were back and available I put sinslikeskeleton back into my hand position.  Are her hours low? Yes, is she working on them? Yes.  Is it of any other person's business what her hours are? No.   

I mean at the end of the day everyone is going to have their own views and opinions, but you know what they say about opinions!

The way I see it is between the 3 of us (me, Cyclone and Sins) if we are able to back each other up and remain available for the family, then what is the issue?

I am going to defend myself here, as I think you're pooling all of us together as the same type of "lazy" uppers. However, I've recently been dealing with a painfully difficult spinal injury. Perhaps other hands or cl have dealt with this, but I am allowed to take time to regain my hours, after being IA to take time to heal. At the end of the day, life is more important than my hours. 

To be clear, I specified that it is more about a continuance of inactivity, that this is only snapshot. I specifically cited illness as a reasonable reason... If you have a spinal injury, no shit, MR should not be your priority. 

This is only a start, and the next snapshot will be in a week. We will see who has moved off of the list, or stayed, or joined it, and look for those reoccurring people as time passes. 

I didn't even know I was LH but I hope my hours are low enough for Spicoli to lose his HQ

Credit where it’s due, compiling that list must’ve taken effort and time, even if the end result reads more like an old has-been yelling at clouds than anything actionable. As I've previously mentioned it’s all too easy to mistake visibility for value, but those of us actually contributing something worthwhile don’t need to shout about it from the rooftops. 

Not really sure what I find sadder, that someone bothered to pull this nonsense together, or that they still believe this kind of grandstanding makes a difference.

I fear I have let down the district of Corktown by obstructing our otherwise clean sweep. I will return to the 12th street toilets and hang my head in shame whilst inhaling the thick stench of stale urine.

I do agree that hands should be active. However, I see a difference in this grouping as many have been seen in Lounge recently. Clearly they are still existing to probably their members. At least I would hope so.  Many of the last reign was just IA, not really even in Lounge. 

So it just seems a little different. I prefer hands to be active but I am not the one in the bold and/or italic  suit, nor do I want to be. 

There is no fucking excuse to have a IA hand. A hand who is borderline the hours required to make the crew or break it is fucking deplorable.  If a hand has issues for whatever reason the CL needs to make changes. Period. No ands ifs or buts. RH or LH. For years I have seen LF rank is a big nothing. And I fully agreed and still do. However, I personally made it a point to act as RH when our RH was IA and I was indeed rewarded with getting my first auth. Moving on.

Nobody has any real basis for insulting Spike for generating a new Inactive Upper Shame list. If you were not waiting for this you are foolish. Or stupid. Your choice. 

Yes everything was peaches and cream after the former regime fell. Activity in all lounges were looking pretty. RAT was being sustained. You got some notches under your belt.  New auths took place. And that is went all went to SHIT. And piss poor decisions on hands took place for at least 85% if not more in position right now. 

There has been far more rebuilds happening than the former regime as of late. Yes, far less purging but wtf are you doing for real? 

I heard on WA Izzy was talking about making 4 man crews. My kin was missed that but that is a grand idea. 

Oh and no damn excuse for a CL to be IA and barely hanging on a consistent basis either! NONE! I have much respect when a CL steps down because they cannot give more of their time. And we have seen a few in our time. 

Get the fuck out the way if you cannot fill the shoes. And what Cl does not welcome a new family member? And not once have any interaction with them or their crew? That is treason. It is happening because I am a sociable woman and folks feel like they can talk with me. l not throw anyone of them under the buss but it pisses me off because I talked some into returning.

If you don't like this thread fuck off because I personally think it screams so much truth. And I am not a Spoke fan in the sense that I do not care for his style of play.  But he surely is spot on now with this lot.

Excellent point Dean-Winchester. And what do we do with games? We play for FUN and entertainment. Stagnation is not fun. The uppers are responsible to interact with their crews. And the majority do no such thing. So what do we call it now?

You've been in one crew, its brave to say the uppers dont interact and lump everyone as a whole, but then again, im honestly surprised it took you this long to have a full breakdown and throw a fit. 

The only thing I keep seeing is the few that got butthurt who died from the last regime complaining, whining, and people throwing away character after character—retiring each one after a set number of days, only to start over and complain some more.

When it comes to Mafia Returns, it’s all about the players and how they shape the game. If you want something done, then do it. Don’t waste time making threads to argue about how long someone’s been playing in a given week.

There are already features in place to deal with people who don’t log in or interact enough. All this complaining just makes it easier for those in power to stay in power. The best example was the previous regime—on top for quite a long time. If you don’t like the current one, then do something about it.

I don’t usually share my two cents, but with how things are going and the tone of these threads, it honestly makes me want to retire from the game completely that I’ve played on and off for 20 years, yes I can do something about it but instead of driving players away by refusing to take real action against those in charge, maybe focus on building up your own character and proving you can do better.
