A WELL established RH, with a cannon who apparently was going to be set up as a CL got shot in "mistake". After the situation was handled I doubt he went to the person who shot him to voice his annoyance with the situation. He did it in his "circle", the correct thing to do if it's gonna be done.

The recent person was...well...a nobody. He wasn't established for shit and barely had his feet wet in this life. He not only voiced his displeasure with others but he took it too the person who committed the act from what I understand. The debt was settled and an apology was issued, regardless of his rank he had no business continuing outside of his "circle". He made it to where he now owed...a fucking apology for overstepping his boundaries.

It's all opinion though I guess, what's done is done and the mouth of a thug brought down an entire district.

A thug that's in a family.

I feel like putting one in my head every time someone comes out here downplaying rank, especially when they're a man of honor. The death of a thug calls for restitution, the death of a family member can only be paid with blood. Rank is fucking everything, we live for it and we sure as fuck should be willing to die for it.

Do not come out here and compare a thug to me or any ranking member of this world. They are not on the same level and won't be for awhile...if ever. I could give a shit less about the thugs last name or the blood flowing through their veins.

I see we've gone back to the argument of if an associates life is worth that of a made member of a family again. Both sides bring up good points however I think one thing that makes a difference of how we view an associate is who they are descended from (if anyone). I'm sure a descendant of someone like say CPT-Harris could get away with more and be more valued then say me? So I think that makes a difference too, however in this case I do not know of the original members blood line.

As I said, a thug is a thug. Fuck what you think he's gonna be worth or what his parents were...he is what he is till he proves himself better. He's a new associate brought in, if someone wants to value a thugs life over a Made Man, Capo, Boss, Consigliere or a Don...well fuck them and any respect I had for them.

In my own opinion and point of view, I see things this way.

Rank and Bloodlines are two different things.

They both deserved to be respected and valued in terms of rank. 

In terms of Bloodlines they deserved to be respected, valued as well, simply because the fact that they contribute a lot to the community on their term, proved their selves worthy, happens in business and politics also :).

....Their parents at one time...proved themselves. The only thing that should ever matter is the work that YOU put into this world, not your family tree.

BGs? Whatever. Money? Fine. Respect? Respect is not something someone should enter this world expecting as if they were a man of honor. It's not something that should be given to them because of those bodies 6 feet under.

My point is, I'm not gonna look at a thug and say "You're gonna run a family in 10-20 days, I've seen the work you've put in for ten minutes and I'm thoroughly impressed. I have people who have worked harder for me but your parents are what made you jump above everyone currently busting their ass, Congrats!"

When we're basing our future business off of who "they were" rather than who "they are" something has gone awry. Bloodlines? They bring nothing but shame to how we conduct ourselves and our business.

I personally hate that so many decisions and promotions are based on bloodlines! We should let our parents achievements die with them and when we achieve something ourselves then we should be congratulated and promoted and not until!
