Private flight: A special flight available when there is less than one hour remaining on your "flight timer." The general basics are the same as a normal flight, however, it costs a significant amount more than a regular flight. Example: I know I just landed a little in Las Vegas more than an hour ago, but I'm thinking of taking a private flight to Los Angeles right now to score big on this drug run. |

Bribes: Another word for Crackdown, in which, you pay the cops to put all the hoodlums of the city in jail. Shooting Range: A place where you can pay the attendants to help you train your gun. Takes 6 hours to complete and you can do one every 8 hours from the start of the previous visit. |

Watched Threads Threads in which you want to find easily, usually ones that interest you and you don't want to go searching for them. Example I have 1 watched thread, and it is a debate to see who is a better hitter Hitter: A person who kills inactives daily, and keeps logs of their activity. They bleed, sweat, and kill to be the best. They usually are important for when wars break out. IA LIST: a list of inactives that will be turning Gangster soon, so that people can train their guns and kill them. Turning refreshing a civilians/thug profile until the time it changes to Gangster. |

Back alley- The forum found under Comm where you can post anything you like, and nobody can read it unless you send them the link. For example: Hey can you send me an updated IA list? Sure its on this thread in my back alley. business district- The forum which is specific to each city, and only accessible in that city, where people post bars, and other "businesses" they have created. For example: Hey go to Philly and post in the business district in Jimmy's Desire! Range- The act of training your gun at the shooting range, which depending on your accounts answers, can be done anywhere from 4- appx 50 times. When you train at the range, you cannot fly for 6 hours and cannot shoot or pickpocket for 5 hours. For example: Before you start shooting IAs you should max out your ranges. Watched threads-A way to keep an eye on threads you have posted or posted in, you click watch thread at the top and when you go to Comm and Watched Threads, you can see it there instead of searching for it. For example: I can not find that damn thread anywhere, oh yeah I watched it so it is there. suits- Refers to the picture that is put in your profile. For example: Hey do you like my new suit? Locals- The section under News and Info which allows you to see who is in the same city as you. Note: Depending on what answers you have, you may see more or less people than others. Also used to make IA lists, and as an expression to ask someone if a person is in their city, most often on IRC. For example: Hey Frankie you have locals on Jimmy? ; Hey can you send me your locals please for this list? Invite- Used to refer to the invitation by a crewleader to an unsponsored member to be in their family. For example: Hey its munchkin can I get an invite again please. Those damn wb's. (NOTE this example is not a recommended course of action for new players!!! It will likely not result in an invite. |

Example: I failed my petty crime, I couldn't even steal a woman's purse. Felony Crime: A more severe crime that earns more money, or more jail time on occasion. Example: I made $1,329 on my felony crime. HQ: Stands for Headquarters, this is where your family works out of, its sort of like a warehouse for mafiosi. Its the families safe house. Example: I need to go check the rules of my family, in the HQ. |
