Petty Code; A term that refers to the three digit's that will occasionally appear when attempting to perform a Petty crime. This digits must be entered correctly to prove that a person is attempting a petty crime. It is used to deter automatic processes of doing petty crimes. "HAHA! My Petty Code was 666." |

A quick correction to this one... Efficiency: The percentage of experience gained in comparison to all other players of your rank since the time you joined your current family. Efficiency is only visible to the CL/RHM/LHM of the family. |

Takedown - When one family starts a war against another family and succeeds. Most commonly used in both MafiaReturns.com and mIRC when a warring family has a clear and decisive victory over the victim family. Example: Did you see ThomasRourke's takedown of (insert any family here)? First, Second, Third etc. Wave - When a takedown occurs, shots from the warring family are taken within a handful of minutes, if not seconds, during the course of the mob war. Usually the amount of casualties suffered during these short periods of shots (which can be taken individually every hour) are used to gauge the success of a war. The more deaths suffered by the victim family in those short few moments the better for the warring family. Example 1: I can't believe ThomasRourke's family included Birday in the first wave of their takedown on Deano's family. Birday is easily a 4th Wave target, and the war only lasted one wave. Example 2: The only one death in the first wave of Doyle's attack on Mikus is Caby; everyone else missed the shots on their targets. This is going to be a horribly long war. |

-48 - A term used to describe a gangster under 48 hours in age. As gangsters are provided with 48 hours of protection by the community to find a home, a tag of -48 is displayed on their profiles. Example: "he was killed for shooting at a -48" -48 blue / blueie - A gangster under 48 hours in age who was killed while still having innocence protection. Innocence protection is given to all -48's, until they range, pickpocket or shoot. This protection boosts their defence, making them tougher to shoot. In the obits, the name appears as a blue font hence the term "blueie". Example: "he can't have shot, he was still a blueie when he died" -48 red - A gangster who is under 48 hours in age, but who has lost their innocence protection. This means that they have ranged, pickpocketed or shot since starting. The name appears in a red font in the obits. Example: "that -48 red that just died shot at me, the cheeky sod." |

Example sentence, missed that the first time. Apologies all around. Pro-wacker: An individual in the employ of a family whose value is not based on the efficiency of their gun but rather by the ineffectiveness of their weapon. Typically a low ranking member, this individual's talent lies in their ability to shoot at a specified target without causing harm, thus generating protection for the target. This protection lasts for four hours or until the protected individual uses their weapon in an attack of their own. The process itself is simple; the pro-wacker points his weapon at the targeted individual and pulls the trigger. If the target survives the attack it is a successful pro-wack and he/she can now enjoy the benefits of being pro'd. Sal took a shot from a pro-wacker last night and ended up going to the boneyard. Pro'd: Shortened form of the word protected. The effect one achieves as the result of surviving an attempt on one's life. Whether through an attack generated by a pro-wacker or through a failed attack by an assailant during times of war, the enhancement is the same. The pro'd individual now has the luxury of not being able to be attacked again for a span of four hours or until using their own weapon in an attack, whichever comes first. A very valuable effect to aquire during war, it affords the protected time to carry out plans and get into position for an attack of their own at their leisure. One can still travel and commit crimes while under protection without losing it. The effect is negated early only by using their weapon or through the use of a headquarter wack on the protected person. Someone else dropped the hammer on that ia before I could and missed. Now he's pro'd for the next four hours. Pro-wack: The term is used to describe the act of firing one's weapon upon a targeted individual and missing, giving the target the effect known as being pro'd. This act can either be a "friendly fire" attack designed to deliberately give the designated target the effect of being pro'd, or the outcome of a failed attack on an enemy combatant. More rare, it has been used by some individuals as a way of raising their own defensive prowess through the direct action of surviving an attack. Every attempt on one's life that is survived is said to raise one's defense. Some carry this zeitgeist to the extreme, counting on the poor attack effectiveness of the shooter to make this action a viable "almost' risk free endeavor. Some carry this school of thought straight to the grave. Looks like trouble, someone better give the Boss a pro-wack. |

Fort stealing:Term used to denote the act of utterly and totally destroying another family. Originally used to describe Ganelon's attacks on Fort Izzel and Fort Shifty, it has become synonymous with unanimous victory. See takedown. Ganelon was the king of fort stealing. There was nothing left of Fort Shifty but ashes. |

FUC: A term (originated by Kendra herself) used to refer to the family only, felony based, multi user crimes. Family user crimes, which the acrynom stands for, are slightly easier than the public multi user crimes and provide a slightly higher payoff. The term allows for people to request participants for a family only crime without the confusion of outside parties wishing to join in. Example: Kendra, would you like to FUC now? |

Noob: A term used to describe a new player to the game, or commonly as a derogitary term to describe anyone who makes a stupid mistake. It describes someone who has yet to understand how things work in the game and how a player is supposed to act, behave and function. Example: He is a noob, but he seems to have a lot of potential from the conversations we've had. |

DFP: An acrynom for Drug Front Properties. User owned drug manafucturing facilities to provide an income stream to the owner. The number of units they can produce depend on the units the owner could hold at the time of purchase, but they can be upgraded over time. They require bribes to the police (FBN agents) to help avoid them being shut down. Example: I just make a killing selling 40 units from my DFP, but paying off the FBN next week will eat into it. |

DFP: Drug Front Property - Refers to the ability to own your own drug making and distribution center to make a higher profit off of the drug market. Can be bought only in your home city,only a select number of them allowed in each city based on city population. If one owner dies or is shut down by the FBN agents then it can be purchased by someone else. |

| FUC: Family User Crime; one of the two options available to you if you perform a MUC (Multi-User Crime). This requires the people you are inviting to have their felony timer free, and to be in the same city as you. FUC's earn more money overall than PUC's (Public User Crimes), but you can only invite people from your own family. | |
