Can you really adopt a full grown mobster, though?  That's what I really want to know.  To me it would be a bit awkward to try and explain to my parents why I've adopted a thirty-something year old man.

Maybe that's just me though!

I thought it was more of a symbolic action, Godmother, like "adopting" a baseball team or something of that ilk. I could certainly be wrong. If you're correct these whole proceedings have certainly taken a turn for the perverse in my eyes.

I hope you are right, Kates.  Can you honestly imagine what your Uncles would say if I perhaps brought Rourke to a family get-together after 'adopting' him?
