Has anyone ever mentioned "1984" by George Orwell?

Not only a great book part of the best literature ever, as well as a book that teaches you a thing or two about life

I would suggest reading the series The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins.

Those books kept me interested to know how the series would end.

Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury

1984 by George Orwell

Both these books are must reads for everyone. And both books were banned from schools at one point.  Not sure they were mentioned already.

As for historical fiction, Ive read a TON of it. The best are Carry on Mr. Bowditch and the Hornblower books.
