Deep water Horizon 8.5/10
I love true stories so that helps on a rating for me and the actors were great actors (Mark Wahlberg, Kurt Russell etc) only thing I disliked was how they pushed the camera around so much to create the effect. It almost makes you nauseous watching it |

Deadpool & Wolverine.
I normally don't watch superhero movies, whether DC or Marvel. I haven't watched even 10% of all these movies they've released in the last 10 years. I say this to contextualize that I'm not a huge fan. Therefore, I liked the Deadpool & Wolverine. I had a good time watching it, good laughs with the family. Good fight scenes and a simple script to follow. 7/10. |

Extortion (2017) Considered quite poorly by the critics, it might not be a super movie, but it can get quite thrilling and interesting. Maybe not very likely, but I appreciated the pace and some of the twists. |

Greenland I rate this as a 9/10! I love end of the world movies/zombie movies. I felt this one really showed how something like that would really happen or rather how the world would react. The characters actually dealing with real chaos, not just getting lucky at every turn and making it. And a lack of over the top totally wouldn't have lived through that moments haha. |

The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare - 6/10
This was a very easy watch but little to no substance behind it. Henry Cavill was good as Gus March-Phillips who is supposed to be the inspiration for James Bond. Lots of violence that is supposedly historically inaccurate and a typical Guy Ritchie caper. Overall, if you want to watch something that requires no thought at all, this is a decent option. |

Deadpool 2 I would give it 8 of 10 Probably not as good as the first but actually much more on point with Deadpool and breaking that 4th wall with all the Disney remarks and statements being made. Still a great and entertaining movie. |

Alien: Romulus (2024) 8/10
Started slow enough that I almost fell asleep in the theater. Once things picked up, it was nonstop. It didn't have as much action as the previous movies and the plot line was rather simple. I will say that Romulus had things that I hope to never see again in another alien movie because some moments were pure nightmare fuel that I'd rather forget. |

I watched Twisters. I’m still amazed that I watched Twisters. Not only that I watched Twisters but that I did not stop. I watched the entire movie. I must say that it wasn’t great. Twisters was not a great film. I think it was aimed at teenagers. |

Trap (2024) 10/10 Trap is one of the best movies I've seen in a while even if it did get predictable. This movie has an after credits scene for anyone who is unaware. |

The Crow (2024) 8/10
The 2024 version goes into more depth than the original. However, it is slower and may be gorier than the original from what I can remember. The plot was much better than the original. |

Watched Longlegs. It was interesting for a while but the plot requires an enormous leap in plausibility. It’s a stretch for even the most willing viewer. And there’s almost no attempt to explain it, even within the realm of the supernatural. Still, that aside it had enough going for it to keep me interested until the end. |

The last movie I watched was a rewatch of a 90s classic, Independence Day (1996). Will Smith doing Will Smith things near the height of his powers, Jeff Goldblum as the usual charming smartass, and the greatest presidential speech in history. Certainly not the greatest quality in some areas, but a fun movie. 8/10. |

The Whale 1/10 I regret the time I wasted on this pos movie. I hated every dumb, boring and mean character. The plot was ...there was no plot. I mean unless you enjoy self-loathing and mean people. |
