Rank has been reduced to less than nothing in this world, because any fucker can get any rank. My line has spoken before on how leader and Godfather spots have become worth less than nothing. (Although, if Donnie reaches Godfather, I think the prestige of the spot might actually hit a new low.) So I'm not just going to fling reverence and respect to anybody of any particular rank. Respect is EARNED, and in my eyes, the amount of units you have has jack shit to do with whether or not I respect you. 

Like I've already said. When Donnie has done something to earn my respect, he'll get it. And he has done nothing in my eyes to earn my respect.

I dont necessarily disagree with your point, but don't dare try and claim you have some sort of annoyance at the fact rank means less, when its very clear you have no regard at all for rank anyway.

Rank only means less because people feel the way you do. You think back in the early days of this thing of ours that every single person that obtained rank was a good person that deserved that rank? Because they weren't. Donnie might not be everyones cup of tea, but he hasn't done anything in this run to deserve disdain nor the claim that the rank itself will mean less because he has obtained it.

Before districts, I'd respect a Godfather because getting Godfather was actually somewhat a challenge and there weren't 21 (if I counted correctly) Godfather spots floating around. It was a special thing. It was worth respecting. Now it's just a rite of passage as a leader if you hit 60 and don't die. 

And every time somebody entirely un-respectable takes the spot, it devalues it for those who're actually worth it. 

Fairly sure Donnie was being incredibly sarcastic throughout his whole speech BadNewsBarrett. No doubt you were so caught up with attempting to embarrass and insult him that you didn't pay full attention, doesn't surprise me though really.

I personally find this to be complete shit. If the money was actually going to be used to fund city events, shouldn't that be up to Philly to make? If you don't like the way their city is being run just take them out. There is no reason to tax someone for bullshit reasons saying you're trying to help them. If it's an incentive, what's their reward? Not being taxed? Pretty sure that's complete shit also. Not to mention the more money you take from them that's just that much less that they have to spend to help reach the rank of Godfather.
