Day 3 8:10 pm

I was devastated. I had watched my son be murdered by Giovanni. It was unbearable.

"You heartless bastard" I yelled at him. He just smiled at me. "You're a sick man, Giovanni. You didn't need to kill him, you didn't need him dead!"

He just laughed.

"Why didn't you at least give me a few minutes with my son?" I asked.

He said, "Because we know your pain would be greatest if you watched him die...and you could never talk to him before he was dead, and painfully murdered" He said so happy like. He had no care for my pain, my loss.

"Why d-...!" I was saying, but then something hit me behind the head, knocking me out.

Day 4 6:00 am

I remember waking up at my house in the front lawn. I felt dazed and the back of my head was hurting. Then I remembered it all, everything that happened last night. I was instantly miserable

Eventually, I did get up. I slowly worked on gathering everything I was going to need to win the case tomorrow and to get the criminal off the death penalty.

I was in my office when I then got a call. When I picked it up I heard a person say "Meet me at the bar, the only one you go to, at 6 pm, it's important" Then silence.

I knew instantly it was the guy who didn't want the criminal alive. It was the guy who had threatened me when I left the law building. Did he have something important for me or was he going to kill me? All I know is that...I'm going to the bar at 6pm to meet with him.
