Interlude: Fighting Depression

The woman ambles through the streets in no particular hurry. The heels of her boots send out sharp echoes that reverberate in the concrete jungle around her. Her boots are black leather, rising up and disappearing under form hugging grey trousers. Her hands rest in the pockets of a slim, black jacket, tied in the front near her waist, that falls nearly to her knees. A white, button-down shirt lies open at the neck. Depending on what sort of person approaches her, she occasionally removes her right hand and brings it closer to the opening her jacket. This is usually accompanied by a smirk.

The aforementioned smirk is accompanied by dancing blue-grey eyes and blond hair ending just above her shoulders. Her hair falls around her face and behind her, longer than it used to be and with more attention paid to it than the cowgirl who once walked alone into Detroit- although the waves in her hair still seem to resist total conformity. She catches you looking and winks- although you're not sure whether she's being genuine or sarcastic.
