One! Everything goes into one. I don't give a damn, paper, plastic, glass, metal, radioactive, everything goes into one bin at home then into the garbage on the outside. 

Drank my milk, bottle goes in, ate my apple, leftovers go in, done cooking, goes in, everything goes in.

Well, technically we only have two (different) bins. One we use for all metal/glass, the other is for plain trash. But we do have two extra bags for sorting cardboard/paper and plastic, and they're nearly always overflowing :D

You raise a good point, LuncheonEphipany. I really think everyone should post of picture of their bins too so that we tell if you're lying or not. I'll start to make sure you know you can trust what I'm saying.

I have 7 bins. Unless someone has 8, then I have 9 bins. 

I am also willing to provide real, photographic evidence of 7 bins, but not of 9 bin. The other 2 bins are shy. 

Too many. I’ve got too many bins. I don’t need them all. A couple will never get filled. The whole bin thing has gone completely stupid. Just have less bins and more frequent collection. That’s all most of us need. Fucking ridiculous

1 Black bin (general waste)

1 grey bin  (plastics such)

1 Black and purple bin (cardboard)

1 green bin (garden waste IE tree trimming grass cutting etc)

Shit is annoying! If they see something that isnt suppose to be in that bin, they will not take it.

We got two in my building garbage and recycling. Wish we had access to compost as most of my garbage is organic waste. Not allowed a counter composter either but still debating getting one

2 bins. One green one blue.

Blue is for recycling, green isn't. Simple as that. No other colors. You MAY find other colors in high profile private institutes but they are very rare lol.

I have 4  bins two black and 2 blue.  Blue is for recycling but for some reason I have 2 bins the previous person to own the home left me.  One black is is for trash and the other is yard waste.

I stopped using bins awhile ago. Don't need them anymore. I just started giving all my rubbish to QuackersFeatherbeak and then he began writing a newspaper. Now every issue is filled with trash. It is a great system and works well for both of us.
