I feel like my waste collection company ripped me off when I moved into my new house. The previous owners had their bins here when I called to set up my service. They asked me if the previous owners had left their bins and I said "yes". The next day, a truck showed up and collected the bins. A week after that, another truck showed up and dropped off some bins. Not new ones. Not a different type. Just basically the same thing they picked up the week before. Then, when I got my first bill, they charged me for dropping off the bins.

Anyhow, three. I have three bins.

Hey everyone, I just want to update you all on the whole waste pickup vs. recycling pickup debacle. The last time we talked, the company was making me pay for recycling services (because I signed up for them), but they did not give me a separate bin for recyclables. When I called the company to complain, they said "You should have one".  WELL NO SHIT.

So I finally got my recycling bin. Up to two bins now.

i have on garbage can along with a green recycle bin i dont garden nor have alot of garden waste or anything else like that really  so thats all i need 

Three bins. One for recycle, one for yard waste, and one for garbage. We used to have two bins for recycle but we have a facility where they separate it now

In Denmark you have to sort in :

Food waiste

Cardboard

plastic

paper

metal

Electric appliances/batteries

Dangerous waiste (spray cans chemicals and so on.)

leftover waiste

Man has three bins. Three bins is all I have. I resisted this at first but over time I have adjusted. I create less waste than I used to. I do miss the days of four bins though. Just throwing away whatever, willy nilly. Good times. 

I think it's time we rejuvenate BIN DISCUSSION.

There's 2 bins in my yard, I have the ambition to amass more of them some day.

I  don't even have one. Since I live in a complex we are all stuck using communal dumpsters which generally works but then one of my neighbors decides to get enterprising and lobs a couch into the dumpster leaving no room for anyone's trash. 

Hey guys. Yeah I just moved house. I have four bins now! FOUR. I hardly know what to do with all the space. I even have a garden waste bin, and I don’t even have a garden! You have to hand it to the ‘let’s laugh at the poor’ department at the council for that one. 

We have to pay extra for our garden waste bin. It is an opt-in service where they charge you and then send you a sticker to affix to your bin for collection on a Thursday. Despite having subscribed, I'm yet to have my garden waste bin collected and I'm disgusted by it. 

We have 3 bins.  1 for organic materials,  waste materials, recycling.  Technically I have 2 of both bins so I should say 6!

we have up to three bins here.. General Recycling, General Trash... and if you put an X on a bin.. it's yard waste...
