Ice station zebra.

I saw it in my youth 1969 and I still find the film very intriguing and interesting.

Black Noise, mercenaries sent to an island to find out why a woman set off her distress beacon, who is under their protection.   Sets of alien vibey/tech conspiracy scenario of sound waves being used to alter your mind and make you see flashbacks of the past, not simply disorientate/knock you out.

You go through the movie wondering who is behind it, and their motive, which is not explained at all, other than a cave was opened.   Acting poor, outfits poor, but was enough to keep watching to want to know who dun it and why, just to be dissapointed at the end  3/10

I just watched Oppenheimer for the first time the other day. I thought it was pretty enjoyable overall. The movie itself looked amazing, and was very entertaining in that regards.

I guess my only complaint was some of the things that seemed a bit dramatic and it came across as a bit forced. But again, overall I'd recommend it and probably watch it a 2nd time.

Well Tyki and I have just done a John Wick marathon. In all honesty I truly believe this quad movies are much better than the Matrix movies.

But when it comes to marathon movies, nothing beats The Godfather 1, 2 and 3. Hands down.

The last movie I watched was the modern version of Dune. It is significantly better than the books in my opinion. It removes a large amount of the sexism misogyny and overall disrespect towards women. Though with that said the story is still incredibly difficult to enjoy giving how the overall plot reflects on women.

I watched Host the other night.

I saw it had a decent rating, youtube comments said it was good so I ended up watching it. If you liked the movies Unfriended, Searching or Missing (movies viewed from computers/phones/devices) you'll like this one. Creepy and kind of horrifying, although a little short with a runtime of only 1 hour. I'm sure I missed a ton of shit happening in the background too, as I noticed some viewers had rewatched it a few times to try to catch it all.

I'd give it a solid 5/7!

I watched Triple Frontier.

It was good, It was sad, It was inspiring.

Take this for what you want, the movies about a bunch of ex special operations dudes who go on down to South America and rob some drug lords. Their greed caused their airplane to malfunction landing them into a giant gun battle, and they lose some friends, for sure worth the watch.

I re-wateched the Hateful Eight, the extended version. Solid 10/10 or I wouldn't have re-watched it.

Re-watched 28 days later, as much as i am against running zombies, running rage victims somehow works due to the nature of the name.  The only downfall of the film for me, is we don't learn more about Rage itself.   Something about knowing is not safe at night and an overpowered creature or horde can pour down on you and murder you at any time, which offers a dose of suspense, action and excitement.   Add to that the weaknesses of human nature, to drop the lowest level to protect themselves and what they have in times of crisis.   The movies a 8/10 for me

Last movie I watched was the sandlot from 1993. It's an absolute classic, this movie fueled a love for the sport of baseball. When Benny is getting chased by the dog or when the kid with glasses kisses the life guard after fake drowning lol it is a all time great of a movie 10/10 is my rate

Did a little rewatch of pirates of the Caribbean last night. Forgot how much I enjoyed the first one. It’s an easy 8/10

They Cloned Tyrone

A great movie with a lot of twists and turns. Used a lot of what is deemed as popular in black modern american culture to send a powerful message to the audience.

9/10

I watched it on Netflix, the name of the movie is The Killer with that dude Fassbender. It is a decent movie with a different view to the cleaning business and how it works and what are the perks. Decent movie with a nice watch feeling.

Tried to watch The Matrix Resurrections or whatever it was called and struggled through a very bad 60 minutes before ultimately calling time on it. Trinity sucks. New Morpheus sucks. At this point, Neo sucks as well. Get in the bin with this shit. New Agent Smith voices a snowman for God's sake.

Last night I watched White Tiger, a story of an Indian guy who wanted to get out the chicken coop and rise up to be wealthy,

Well he became wealthy but the story is quite basic and long, watched it to pass time, anyways

6 out of 10

Last film I watched was ok. As a film it was interesting. It was delivered in quite a protracted manner, which considering its subject matter, made for some quite dreary sections. There’s only so much interest a non specialist can draw from theoretical science, political administration and meetings. As a whole however, it gave a pretty comprehensive account of a notable period in history.

Sonic 2.

Predictable typical kids movie with a few laughs. Honestly its nothing great, story line is weak and even Jim Carey fails to really shine in it, but its a kids movie and the kids enjoyed it, so I guess it is what it is.

Brotherhood of Justice

Old movie from when keanu was young, and so was kiefer sutherland.   so around 90s i would say.   School and local community torn up b thefts, vandalism etc, and a principal who doesn't want to hire security to handle it.    A group of seniors take it on themselves to form a vigilante group but quickly find the group harder to control and arguments to start as they pick off potential criminals.

5/10 Watchable but nothing special

Just finished watching Fracture(2007) Starring Anthony Hopkins and Ryan Gosling.

an absolute incredible thriller that I've watched time and time again plus anything with Hopkins in is almost bound to be an instant classic!
