I am not questioning the importance of active CLs. I am questioning why you are hostile over a CL with 30-40 hours logged in a week. Seems pretty active to me. Logging upwards of 20 hours a week is pretty good, I believe currently above average. 

30-40 hours seems to be very good in the current climate but that was average 12-18 month ago.

Nothing screams lack of respect louder than mocking the values of a superior’s entire belief system, and it appears Spike has lost the respect of his own team, given their responses to being called out on their lack of presence (as per Spike’s own minimum required levels)

As a matter of fact, it appears you were the only one to bring “30-40 hours” into this conversation. I simply called this thread for what it is - a steaming pile of shit. I assume you knew that though, and are attempting to shift the focus away from the blatant lack of respect shown to a subject which clearly irks poor old Spike.

I grant you; Spike’s activity passes muster, but what about the rest of the country? Why is he now allowing the standards that *he set* to slip? That hypocrisy is what I’m calling out, and that’s why I’m being hostile towards the man.

This thread has not encouraged anyone to do better, nor has it inspired a change of structure. Maybe it's time we realized there's no exception to Goodhart's Law and approached the inactivity issue in another way.

Every other way ends in the same results aswell. Someone gets upset names are called some people die and then the status quo is upheld.
