i remember even when i did 40 hours or more once upon a time was just high, and pyros was crazy when wass doing over 100 hours a week.   but standards been falling for so long as not like is something thats crept up on people, every year for like a decade it gets a bit lower

I am pleased to announce that the mighty Grimes has cut the list in half. 

Only Monarch remains. Perhaps a little more guidance from SimonTheSwanHunter is in order.

He doesn't need guidance, I'm sure he will be fine. I also do not care at all about this list. The purpose of it is disingenuous, and as the original author oversaw and enabled the least contribution from any regime in the history of the website, that has never been more apparent. Clocking up 50 hours clicking buttons means nothing at all to me, and as we have all witnessed over the past few years, has little to no correlation to how fun the game is to play for other people.

So I would suggest nobody puts much stock in this beyond whether a structure is physically around enough to fulfill their roles. 10 hours a week gaming might be of little consequence to some, but can be a significant proportion of another's leisure time. Except for very rare occasions, I do not foresee my activity greatly exceeding what it is now and yet I am certain my overall impact upon the experience of those around me will be greater in my currently 20-30 hours than it would be if I did 70-80 of nothing. Let this blustering die and measure contribution by real metrics of consequence i.e. are you having fun, are those around you having fun, do you want to play etc. When the answers to those are no, then we need to take action, not before.

Is this where the excuses begin? This is going to be interesting I am sure. Got the snacks ready just in case.

I wholeheartedly agree SimonTheSwanHunter. 

Initially I continued this previously to hold the original author and fellow crew leaders to the standards that he set for others. They failed miserably. 

Whilst I also believe this measure means fuck all to assess the value of the leaders we have currently, it at least shows that they are making more effort to be present and available, more so than the previous regime who were branded as "inactive" and all the rest of it. I think we'd all prefer quality over quantity, providing quantity is reasonable. 

I'm sorry but that's BS, and yes just the beginning of complacency that gives us leaders that do jack shit for the game.  If you can't commit to at least 10 hours a week here then you shouldn't be a leader.  I don't think that should even be an argument. GTFOH with that bullshit

Well now that Esquie has said so, I guess Monarch will have to step down. 

At least we can all take solace in some consistency with DT always being a joke of a city regardless of regime.
