I'm genuinely curious why people would shame anyone for the amount of time they are able to commit to a game? Like...it doesn't make sense to me. Theoretically we are all adults and understand that not everyone is capable of the same time commitments? 

Because to some this isn't a game this is their life.

For those of you complaining about this threads reemergence, perhaps you should ask the person who created it why they thought it was imperative that you have at least 10 hours per week lest you be shamed? They are very much still around. I don't think the late, great, SaulGoodman would have made an entire thread to shame the current regime. He was simply holding them to the standards that they themselves set.

I warned this would be all chiefs and no indians native americans if we didn't make some changes and so it was.

No one cares to take up arms. They've planted their flag on the desolate planet that this has become.

It's not even fun to try to fight because they're all so inactive and disinterested they don't even engage enough to give anyone a reason to give a fuck.

Death by a thousand cuts. 

Most of the people I know aren't sour about not being able to make a full turn over, we're just bored and have moved on to other things.

The finish line was months ago, it's probably time to admit the situation with inactive leadership isn't going to change unless a reset happens. Many people won't bother to come back then either.

I didn't make the list but I am pretty inactive compared to what I used to be. Not sure what the point of effort is when it's the same. You don't have to guess the next auth or step down, it's all the same people for the last few years. I just check in for friends then find something else to do.

This should speak volumes to anyone who has paid any attention to this metric since its inception. Whilst there were outliers previously, I can’t ever remember “extremely high” being used to describe 20-30 hours a week. The shame I would feel dragging the site’s average user activity to these depths after denigrating previous regimes for not hitting 40 hours a week… that being said, slugs have no shame, right Spike?

When it was reduced to only an hour a week was required for all upper structure is when 20-30 hours was labeled extremely high. The same folks who get that 60 minutes in a week would have time to be around if a weeks long war was jumping off. Yes, life outside of here has priority. And if you are that busy that all you can do is an hour then you have no business being a part of the upper structure. You are boring. Boredom chases people away. 

Time. Sometimes my hours are 70 to 80 hours a week. Right now, there are logs I haven't been on in a while. I had to log in because if I go under one hour, I lose, and we lose our headquarters. I see a lot of people just logging in. One hour should be more than 10 hours if  you were actually a crew they should need 10 hrs.
