What's for dinner tonight Started by: FastFingerFreddy on Sep 22, '23 22:26

Homemade pizza. Pepperoni, sausage, bacon, 4 different cheeses, and a nice pizza sauce that I made myself.  I haven't done some of the things to the sauce that I did this time.  Hopefully it's as good, if not better, than ever

Tonight I had 2 ears of Corn, yes that is all.   Likely have me some Cheddar Jack cheese in crackers before I go to bed.

Its 2:16am, who the fuck gives a shit whats for dinner? Lets focus on the real topic at hand. What is my 3am depression meal? And that would be quesadilla with Jarlsburg cheese.

Tonight was pretty simple, nothing overly fancy. Just some oven baked flounder, some brussel sprouts and some butter garlic rice. Was tasty still but simple.

Tonight my good lady and I will be having home made crispy chicken burgers with tomato, lettuce and mayo with some home made potato wedges, must say I am really looking forward to it.

Report Post Tip

Sauteed vegetables with fried fish, smothered with crushed tomato slices, embellished on the side with salted micro-prawns.

Topped with steamed rice with tidbits of garlic, thyme, and lime leaves.

We were undecided between some stuff, then we went for pasta with tuna. Then I think just some bread with cheese or something, salad, and fruit.

Tonight we had meat loaf baked in bbq sauce and wrapped in bacon. Had potatoes and green beans with it for sudes.

Tonight I am making some pan seared salmon with oven roasted green beans and either mashed potatoes or some cheesy rice. Maybe I'll add a pan sauce, but the salmon is usually quite nice even without it.

It consistent of 2 Marie Calanders  Chicken Pot Pie, my standard lazy fall back for a meal.

I was not in the mood to cook, so I grabbed two patties and threw them on the grill, dump the cheese on top to melt it, put it in a bun with veggies and other condiments, voila.

It is Thursday, so my night to cook. We will be having chili and grilled cheese, enjoying the brisk weather we've had the last week.

Once more we got spaghetti for dinner :D We just need to choose with which seasoning/sauce preparing them.

  1. Step 1Preheat oven to 400°. In a small saucepan, prepare rice according to package instructions.
  2. Step 2Meanwhile, in a large skillet over medium heat, heat oil. Cook onion, stirring occasionally, until softened, about 7 minutes. Stir in garlic and tomato paste and cook, stirring, until fragrant, about 1 minute more. Add ground beef and cook, breaking up meat with a wooden spoon, until no longer pink, about 6 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  3. Step 3Stir in rice and diced tomatoes; season with oregano, salt, and pepper. Let simmer, stirring occasionally, until liquid has reduced slightly, about 5 minutes.
  4. Step 4Arrange peppers cut side up in a 13"x9" baking dish and drizzle with oil. Spoon beef mixture into each pepper. Top with cheese, then cover baking dish with foil.
  5. Step 5Bake peppers until tender, about 35 minutes. Uncover and continue to bake until cheese is bubbly, about 10 minutes more.
  6. Step 6Top with parsley before serving.

Stuffed Peppers are really cool :)

Lo9ks like it will be another take out day. The wife is not being very energetic with the meals since she now has to make lunch for the kiddo to have at school. It will probably be A and W ... if I get my way lol

I'm going to make a delicious roast dinner. Its Sunday, its cold, wet and windy outside. I'll have minted lamb steak whereas the children has asked for chicken. I am looking forward to it soooo much!
