The best Horror movies you've seen | Started by: TheBeast on Dec 01, '20 18:08 |
The first Paranormal Activity certainly worked for me, so did the first conjuring. Though when I was just a wee lad, Gremlins was my kryptonite! True story. |

all horror movies are terrible, they are more like comedies with mosnters. killer is coming, run up stairs so there is no escape and all that nonesense. i watch porn, but just for the story line, babes gone wild 3 is an epic tale check it out! |

I would say the nightmare on elm street films. Creeps me right out and I need lots of chocolate and a duvet to hide under. Lol |

I liked the movie Skeleton Key in that it had little to no jump scares. Which are fine every now and then but too many cheapens the movie IMO. A horror film without them that still manages to be terrifying is the chef's kiss. |

I would have to say butterfly effect some say. It’s a drama but I think its horror like a messed up ground hog day doomed to repeat the worse times in your life in hopes it would get better |

Just finished watching Annabelle 2: Creation It's a bit crap, the usual story about some demon haunting and possessing someone, but at same time it's quite thrilling. |

The best horror movies are mainly from Japan imo. The ring, the Grudge, classics like these. They managed a chill that I rarely find in the more modern versions of things. Sometimes having fancy tech to make everything CGI just pulls away from the realism. |

I did love this one japanese film, called the eye, basically a girl has cornea transplant, and then can see ghosts. At first she doesn't realise, then slowly for her becomes more and more terrifying trying to get to the bottom of it. |

The best horror movies in MY opinion I'd have to say are Hereditary and The Exorcist. They are two movies that really stuck with me. I saw The Exorcist really young and the spider walk scene made me jump off the couch, hide behind it and scream and cry, then again, so did the end of Carrie when her arm comes up out the grave. Though when I watched these two as an adult I wasn't nearly as phased.
BUT.... Hereditary. I just can't. I love that movie. It was an amazing movie, I love Toni Collette, I'd watch a 6 hour movie about her painting a room. I won't watch Hereditary again though.
Nope. NOPE. NOPE!!!!!!! |

The best horror movie I've ever seen is Macarena taking a shower. Goddamn, it's a hideous puss-filled, saggy-tittied bag. It's like watching a corpse trying to rejuvenate itself. Not recommended; 0/10 |

For me it's got to be Julia's Eyes (Los ojos de Julia) it's a spanish horor thriller that is honestly well written and for those who find fear in the storytelling of it all. Plus it' has a lot of interesting POV shots that really keep you gripped. |

The Devil's Rejects and Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I mean I likely have a few top movies but those are the ones that come to mind. Event Horizon was a pretty trippy movie to watch as well. | |

I liked most of Hereditary and all of Midsommar. I like slow burn horror that is mostly psychological and makes you feel gross and uncomfortable. Slasher flicks are not really where it's at for me. Vivarium was good too. |
