When I was younger I really wanted to be a paramedic, I just think what you do would be different every day. I just wasn’t clever enough to be able to study it further unfortunately. |

A teacher. My greatest passion was for History, though certainly no slouch in English or Science, and from around the time I was 9ish to 16 that was what I was dedicated to achieving. As you get older though, things lose their innocence or "shine" and how things really are comes through in a way that even a wet behind the ears kid can understand. Teachers "losing" their job at the end of the school year, having to work another job to make ends meet, and the lack of support (at least in my area) in the classroom from troubled kids quickly turned me off from that dream. I could still chase it now but eh, nothing's really changed (or become worse) so I don't see the point. |

When I was a kid, I wanted to be just like my granddaddy, may he rest in peace. He was a mechanic and a carpenter. He was also a collector of antiques. That dude taught me a lot. He never would fist fight though. He was the type that would body slam the neighbor for talking crazy. He didn't make much money, but I wanted to do what he did. |

| I wanted to be an oceanographer so badly. I loved going to an aquarium as a kid, until I realized aquariums are awful. & I don’t want to subject wildlife to that kind of life. | |

I was a fan of the Black Stallion series of books as a kid and so I wanted to grow up to bred, raise, and race thoroughbreds. That didn't ever happen, but every May I find myself still dreaming of possibilities. |

As a kid, as many from my generation, I wanted to become a game developer. Unfortunately, it was not a thing in my country and my parents did not want to allow me to go to the USA (the only place that actively had such a thing back then). So I became an IT. :D |

When I was younger, I really wanted to be a architect. Went and did some schooling for it but nothing really came out of it. To this day I wish that it could still be a possibility |

| I wanted to learn how to belly dance or be a ballerina but since there was no instructors available in that type of dance I never learned. Now I am to busy being a wife and mom. Something I enjoy probably even more. | |

Have I talked about wanting to be an English teacher yet? I wanted to teach a bunch of assholes just so I could support and nurture that one fucking nerdy kid who loved reading/writing and actually wanted to be there each year. But then kids started bringing guns to school. |
